New Hybrid Approach to Saddle Stitched Booklets from Press Sheet

The Standard Horizon FoldLiner takes an innovative, hybrid approach, combining saddlestitching and folding to go from large format digital or offset press sheets to saddlestitched booklets in one efficient system. The FoldLiner accommodates press sheets up to 40″, and can combine 4-page signatures with 8- or 16-page signatures, also reaching speeds of up to 6,000 booklets per hour.

Eliminate the folding process and go from digital or offset press sheet to saddle stitched booklet using a single operator.

The FoldLiner combines the AFC-74 Series Folder and the StitchLiner 6000 Saddle-Stitching System. The StitchLiner 6000 processes sheets/sets from both the folder and collator into saddle-stitched books. No additional offline processing is required after printing for finished booklet production.

Variable sheet count production can be achieved by use of optional mark sensor. Suitable for digitally printed B2 size sheet and full size press sheets.

• Wide Range of Booklet Sizes: The systems allow for combination of 4-page signatures from the collating tower for greater flexibility to produce an even wider range of booklet sizes. Covers can also be merged from the tower
• Mark Sensor: Mark reading allows for multiple signature gathering for (higher page-count booklets) and variable signature gathering
