Collection: Perforating, Slitting, and Scoring Machines

Perforation is a cutting process that used a toothed blade. It creates a partial cut that keeps the sheet intact but allows for a recipient to easily tear off a portion of the product. Perforation wheels come in various pitches usually measured in teeth per inch (TPI). Standard perforation is typically 12 TPI but there are perf wheels with as many as 50 TPI for a very fine perforation.

Often times, perforation machines are capable of scoring and slitting as well. Accessory shafts will usually have an accessory shaft where operators can install various types of wheels for their desired effect. Every machine is different though so please carefully consider the application requirements or talk to a sales representative for more information.
